[edit] Category

Shakespeare is a scene game.

[edit] Number Of Players

Shakespeare is most often played by three people.

[edit] Suggestions Taken

Suggestions usually taken are activities and professions.

[edit] How It Is Played

The players perform a scene. Instead of speaking their native dialect or one appropriate the scene, all players speak in Elizabethan English and as dramatically as possible. For example, instead of saying "you've put on quite a bit of weight" a player might say "methinks your jerkin dost fit rather more tightly."

[edit] Tips For Performance

  • Use thee, thou, methinks, and mayhaps liberally.

[edit] Variants

  • Jakespeare- a game of Shakespeare played with Jake Mahler.
