Purdue Improv Club
Purdue Improv Club is the official improv comedy group of Purdue University. The club was founded in 2000 by Sean Crimmins with an open door policy that allows anyone who wants to try their hand at improv, regardless of experience or skill level. This policy has reigned to this day, because as Paul Kuliniewicz put it, the only way to improve your improv skills is to actually do improv.
In 2002, a group of 8 regular members of Purdue Improv Club banded together to form the Ship of Fools, which is today the performing branch of the Purdue Improv Club. The SoF leads weekly meetings on Friday nights in BRNG 2280 from 7-9pm. Everyone is welcome to join in improv games or to just come and watch for sheer entertainment.
