[edit] How It Is Played

Actor's nightmare is a game in which 2 performers construct a scene. The concept is that there are two play-actors: one who knows their lines and one who does not. The actor who knows their lines takes the script and chooses a character from which to read lines. Scripted lines are spoken in sequence as responses to the unscripted player. The other adlibs their replies.

[edit] Tips For Performance

Long lines can be interrupted. Say scripted lines even if they don't necessarily make sense. Don't force the other player to do more work. Play with inflection. If your character runs out of lines, you can switch if necessary.
